About Music at Maymont

Maymont is one of Richmond’s true gems of history and nature. Come enjoy concerts on the carriage house lawn, one of the most picturesque concert venues anywhere. Visit www.maymont.org for information about Maymont’s wide variety of activities including mansion tours, nature center exhibits, children’s activities and more.

Tickets

Tickets will be available online until 12:00pm the day of the show, thereafter tickets can be purchased at the gate (1700 Hampton Street). Children under 10 free with a ticketed adult.

Concerts at Maymont are rain or shine and unless there’s imminent severe weather, the show will go on.

Parking & Entry

VIP parking will be available for purchase online and is located at the 1700 Hampton Street entrance of Maymont.  This is also the location of the box office and entrance/main gate all Music at Maymont Concerts. General parking is ample and is available in the neighborhoods surrounding Maymont. While parking and attending the concerts PLEASE BE COURTEOUS AND RESPECTFUL TO MAYMONT’S NEIGHBORS. ADA/Handicapped parking is also available at the Hampton Street entrance with valid, state issued ADA parking credentials.

Food & Beverage

No outside food or drink is allowed during the Music at Maymont concerts. Food trucks will be available to purchase from a la carte. BRING CASH! You are allowed to bring one factory sealed water bottle per person into the show and we will have plenty for purchase!

Our food trucks: Westrays Ice cream, Curbside Creations, Shakedown Eats, OPA, Goatocado, Noah’s Rockin’ Buns.

Be sure to stop at the ID station for your wristband and the beer/beverage ticket table to purchase tickets. You must be at least 21 years old with proof of ID to purchase. Beer will be served in 16-ounce cans and available with the purchase of beer/beverage tickets. Liquid Death Water will be available to purchase. AGAIN, PLEASE BRING CASH. We are also serving Bold Rock cider and hard lemonade.

Bags, Chairs & Blankets

All bags will be searched before entry. Bags will be restricted to small purses, totes and drawstring bags only. Your bag must have no more than one singular pocket or opening. Backpacks and bags with multiple pockets are prohibited. Hydration packs are allowed but must be emptied of all liquid and have no more than two pockets in addition to the one holding the water reservoir.

If you do choose to bring a CHAIR or a BLANKET we ask that you please keep toward the rear of the venue as you will likely be surrounded by enthusiastic dancers if you are closer to the front and will not be able to see the stage.

COVID Protocols

We are following CDC and local guidelines stated for outdoor events. Our event is entirely outdoors and in a space with ample room to spread out. Social distancing is encouraged, wear a mask if you are not vaccinated, and please stay home if you have any symptoms or feel sick!
